Two weeks ago several of the SVBA members as well as some concerned neighbors attended the Marion County Liquor Board hearing to remonstrate against the Liquor Barn getting their license renewed.  The vote came down to 2-2 which means that the state then listens to the transcripts from the Marion county hearing.  This takes place tomorrow Dec. 20th at 10 a.m. in the Indiana Government Center South, Room E-114

It is my understanding that we will not be able to speak or remonstrate but that we can make our presence known by attending.  We’ve talked about making signs that say “No to 1150 S. Meridian” or something to that effect.

We have a few members that have said they can attend, but we would like as many people as possible to be there to express our concern for the negative impact this business is having on the neighborhood.
