Please join the SVBA in welcoming Gwen Robinson and AJ’s Lounge to the neighborhood.  AJ’s Lounge is located at 1118 S. Meridian St.  It is right across the street from the Sacred Heart parish hall where we hold our meetings. The social starts at 5:00 pm and there will be appetizers and refreshments.

Also, don’t forget that this Saturday April 23rd from 8:15am-12:00pm is the Great Indy Cleanup and our area is the major focus of this year’s event.  It will be one of KIB’s largest volunteer projects of the year.  More than 400 volunteers will convene in the Stadium Village and Old Southside neighborhood — from South St. to Beecher St. between the White River and Madison Ave. — to join neighbors in street and alleyway cleanups, habitat restoration, community garden work, and planting hundreds of perennials and trees. Clean and green streets make happier, safer places to live.  To find out more details you can click below.
